Council Taps Schlacter to Lead Fellows, Adds Two

Katie Schlacter

As 2018 was winding down, the Nashville Health Care Council promoted one and announced two new additions to the team.

Katie Schlacter has been promoted to vice president, program development and director of the Fellows program. In her new role, she will oversee thought leadership strategy on behalf of the organization. In addition, she will direct Council Fellows, an annual initiative that engages select industry executives to explore solutions to meet the challenges facing the U.S. healthcare system. Schlacter most recently served as senior director of communications and content strategy for the Council. Prior to joining the staff in 2012, she was a senior executive with MP&F Strategic Communications. A Nashville native, she is a graduate of Vanderbilt University.


Kim Clanton

Kim Clanton will serve as the office administrator. Most recently, she served as a marketing assistant and specifications coordinator for DuPont Performance Materials in Michigan. Previously, she worked for several healthcare companies in in various executive assistant and office management roles. Clanton earned a bachelor's degree from Wayne State University in Detroit.


Stephanie Kopel

Stephanie Kopel will serve as coordinator of events and sponsorship fulfillment, providing logistical support and administrative assistance on the event team. Prior to joining the Council, Kopel managed local event venues the Ruby and the Clementine. She also spent four years working in the live music events industry. Kopel earned her bachelor's degree from Belmont University.
