Last month, Alive Hospice began accepting patients at their new facility, The Residence At Alive Hospice - Murfreesboro. Designed by Earl Swensson Associates and Smith Seckman Reid and built by general contractor Turner Construction, the new 21,000-square-foot facility was designed for the specialized care for terminally ill patients and their families.
Alive Hospice anticipates caring for 200 patients in the facility's first full year of operations. The residence has 10 private patient rooms with the ability to expand to 16 as need dictates with six common space rooms already having plumbing and electric in place for rapid expansion. Additional amenities include abundant natural light, a central courtyard for time outdoors, dining room, commercial-grade kitchen, common areas, meditation space and art gallery exhibits.
