Veteran health care professional to take expanded leadership role
FRANKLIN – American Health Partners, headquartered in Franklin, Tennessee, has promoted Bridget Grover to national director of population health for its TruHealth division, which delivers coordinated health care to members of specialized Medicare Advantage plans in 10 states.
Grover joined TruHealth in 2019 as physician assistant before being promoted to clinical program manager for Kansas Health Advantage. In 2021, she was promoted to regional director of clinical operations in Kansas and Missouri. In that role, she oversaw the delivery of enhanced bedside care for Medicare beneficiaries enrolled in Institutional Special Needs Plans (ISNPs) managed by American Health Plans, a sister division of TruHealth. Her success in these markets led to her being elevated to her now role as national director or population health.
“Bridget has done outstanding work and delivered exceptional results since joining our company,” said Robin Bradley, chief operating officer, American Health Partners. “Her leadership will help ensure members of our Medicare Advantage plans benefit from our innovate model of care, which leverages interdisciplinary TruHealth clinical teams to improve members’ health and quality of life.
As TruHealth’s director, Grover will be responsible for enhancing the organization’s ISNPs operations, clinical training and patient outcomes. She will lead teams of nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nurse case managers, who provide care in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities where American Health Plans currently operates Medicare Advantage ISNP plans. Her focus will be on continuing to achieve superior clinical outcomes and nurture collaborative relationships with TruHealth’s partners.
Grover comes to this new role with more than 20 years of clinical experience in emergency departments, acute-care settings and family-medicine practices. Grover holds a bachelor’s degree as a physician assistant and a bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology from Wichita State University. She is currently completing her master’s degree in healthcare law from Regent University in Virginia and expects to graduate in May.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to lead this amazing TruHealth team and look forward to continuing our work to provide great outcomes for our members, facilities and partners,” said Grover.
