StationMD announces that global strategic technology leader, Kristin Darby, a Nashville resident, has joined its Board of Advisors, bringing a wealth of expertise in the areas of enterprise strategy, operations, cyber security, informatics, digital engagement, and their applications on home-based healthcare.
StationMD is a healthcare company that uses telemedicine to deliver care specifically to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD), which includes those with autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and other I/DDs.

In 2022, Darby began serving as Chief Information Officer (CIO) at HarmonyCares to develop and implement an enterprise technology strategy to enable value-based care delivery across home-based primary care, hospice, and home health divisions. From 2018 to 2021, she served at Envision Healthcare as the Enterprise CIO. Previously, she served as the Enterprise CIO of Cancer Treatment Centers of America from 2014 to 2018.
From 2012 to 2014, Darby served as CIO for Vanguard Health System (formerly NYSE: VHS) Northeast and Midwest Business Division. Her role included leading the information technology, security and informatics strategy and operations for the 11 hospitals, 55 outpatient centers, 80+ physician offices, three ACOs and two insurance products in that market. In 2013, Vanguard Health Systems was acquired by Tenet Healthcare Corporation (NYSE: THC).
From 2009 to 2012, Darby served as CIO for Risk Management Foundation of the Harvard Medical Institutions. The organization is the patient safety and captive medical malpractice company owned by the Harvard Medical Institutions. Earlier in her career, Darby spent 12 years at Fresenius Medical Care (NYSE: FMS) in various roles.
Darby holds a B.S. with dual majors in Accounting and Management Information Systems at University of South Florida, and an M.B.A. from Henley Business School in Oxfordshire, England. She is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Fraud Examiner and patent holder. Darby serves as an Independent Director with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati and serves the Chair of the Business Operations Committee and member of the Risk Committee.
