Patricia Arns, MD, has been named Integrated Health Cooperative’s new medical director. The primary care clinic is an LLC of Mental Health Cooperative. As an internal medicine physician, Arns provides medical and preventive care, as well as educating psychiatric providers, nurses and care managers about physical health issues within MHC's Integrated Health Cooperative clinic.
Prior to joining MHC, Arns spent 22 years in private practice and 19 years with Nashville Medical Group (now known as Saint Thomas Medical Partners). She completed her studies at Mount Holyoke College, Harvard Graduate School of Education and Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Arns also completed a fellowship in Clinical Pharmacology at Vanderbilt School of Medicine, an internship at University of Oklahoma Medical Center and internal medicine residency at University of Tennessee at Baptist Hospital.
