NASHVILLE – Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP welcomes Maddie Spearman to the firm as an associate in the Real Estate Practice Group and the Long Term Care and Senior Housing team.
Ms. Spearman is based in Nashville and works with clients on selling and acquiring senior living facilities. She has experience drafting purchase and sale agreements, conducting due diligence, and preparing and finalizing closing documents. She also regularly advises clients on regulatory matters such as securing and maintaining licensure, initiating changes of ownership, and compliance with relevant federal and state laws and regulations. Ms. Spearman has additional experience advising nonprofit clients on matters unique to tax-exempt organizations, including applications for tax-exempt status, tax-exempt bond financing and various corporate formation and governance issues.
Prior to joining Bradley, Ms. Spearman worked at a boutique healthcare and senior living firm in Texas. She received her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law and earned her B.S. from Vanderbilt University.
Bradley’s Long Term Care & Senior Housing team has been helping clients in post-acute and long term care matters for more than 30 years. The firm represents clients in all facets of their services and plans, including transactional, litigation, and regulatory work. Attorneys also provide strategic counseling to organizations providing ancillary services such as home health, dialysis, rehabilitation, pharmacy, behavioral health, and hospice.
