Last month, Peak Health Solutions, a national provider of mid-revenue cycle solutions, announced Mary S. Bessinger, MBA, RHIA, CCS, CPHQ, has been named vice president of Health Information Management Operations. In her new role, Bessinger will lead production coding and consulting service line growth, develop and implement processes for enhanced operational efficiencies and strengthen service delivery.
Bessinger brings more than 30 years expertise in HIM operations and revenue cycle management to her new post. Previously, she served in senior leadership capacities at LHP Hospital Group, Parallon Business Consulting Group, Quadramed Corporation, McKesson Provider Technologies and SoftMed Systems among other premier healthcare providers.
