Healthcare marketing communications firm ReviveHealth has promoted one of its co-founders to be its first president, placing her in charge of the fast-growing company’s growth and profitability. Joanne Thornton had been ReviveHealth’s chief account officer and will now be overseeing day-to-day operations to go along with CEO Brandon Edwards’ focus on strategy. Thornton, who worked at Davies Public Affairs and Tenet Healthcare before helping launch ReviveHealth in 2009, also will oversee client service and the integration with Weber Shandwick, as well as other agencies under the umbrella of parent company Interpublic.
