Tennessee Charitable Care Network and Tennessee Department of Health partner to increase the number of vaccinated people in Tennessee
NASHVILLE – Tennessee Charitable Care Network (TCCN) is proud to announce the launch of a comprehensive multimedia campaign aimed to bolster COVID-19 vaccination rates across the state, titled “Take Your Best Shot.” This initiative, funded by a grant from the Tennessee Department of Health, aims to raise awareness and educate the residents of Tennessee on the critical importance of COVID-19 vaccination.
The primary mission of this campaign is to encourage individuals to receive a COVID-19 vaccine, thus contributing to the state’s collective effort to combat the pandemic. Through collaboration with 22 of TCCN’s member organizations across the state, TCCN is uniquely positioned to reach individuals from all walks of life and various communities.
“Through this campaign, we are not just offering vaccine education to the state; we are offering the promise of a brighter and safer future for all of Tennessee,” said Christi Granstaff, executive director of TCCN. “Our mission at TCCN has always been to make a difference in the lives of those we serve, especially low-income and underserved Tennesseans. We can’t wait to see the difference we make together.”
The campaign’s theme, “Take Your Best Shot,” is designed to inspire and encourage individuals to take the necessary steps to protect themselves and their communities by getting vaccinated. The campaign informs audiences that the vaccine is their best shot against fighting COVID-19. This campaign motivates Tennesseans to take action and contribute to the stability of public health.
The “Take Your Best Shot” campaign will be featured across Tennessee through various channels, including billboards, social media outreach and TCCN clinic materials. TCCN and their member organizations are committed to sharing accurate and up-to-date information with the public to promote vaccine acceptance and reduce vaccine hesitancy.
“I’m incredibly excited about this campaign to be able to serve my local community and help my neighbors protect themselves,” said Billy Edmonds, executive director of Free Medical Clinic Oak Ridge. “Because of this campaign’s efforts, our clinic will be able to foster a healthier and stronger environment for all.”
The launch of this campaign is a significant development within the health care sector of the state and is a testament to the ongoing effort to protect the people of Tennessee.
