LifePoint Health® announced Shannon Fiser, CPA, has been named chief financial officer of the company’s Western Group of facilities, effective May 16. Fiser, who most recently served as senior vice president of finance for Ardent Health in Nashville, will join the Western Group executive leadership team, guiding strategic initiatives and driving financial operations for its hospitals. At Ardent, Fiser was responsible for financial oversight of three regional health systems, which included 15 hospitals and physician groups. He also managed the corporate supply chain team, as well as a business intelligence unit and the company’s operations finance group. Prior to that, Fiser served in a number of financial leadership roles for healthcare companies including LBMC, HCA and Symbion. He earned his undergraduate degree in business from Austin Peay and a master’s in accounting from Belmont.
