Last month, Tennesseans for a Responsible Future (TRF) announced Adam Nickas as executive director. A Nashville resident and Memphis-area native, Nickas served as executive director of the Tennessee Republican Party during the 2012 election cycle and political director during the 2010 cycle. TRF was launched in January 2016 with the goal of promoting healthcare policies that benefit Tennesseans.
Nickas is leading a TRF kickoff tour across the state to begin meeting with business, community and faith leaders to educate them on the benefits of increasing access to affordable healthcare coverage for hundreds of thousands of Tennesseans. Community meetings and events will continue throughout the summer.
"I am eager to work directly with folks across the state to educate Tennessee residents about the health, economic and community benefits of insuring Tennesseans. Beginning today, we will be traveling across the state to lay the foundation for this effort," added Nickas.
Nickas brings more than 10 years of campaign and political experience in Tennessee to TRF. In addition to his role with TRF, Nickas will continue in his role as a consultant for Capitol Resources where he specializes in government relations and communication strategies on a broad spectrum of public policy issues. In addition to his prior work with the Tennessee Republican Party, Nickas past experience includes working on Republican campaigns in Mississippi, Iowa and throughout Tennessee.
