Nashville-based Bernard Health has released a new mobile app for the company's proprietary HR software platform BerniePortal, which allows new employees to access benefits information, receive notices and complete company onboarding via mobile device. Using the BerniePortal app, individuals can view all elected benefits and summaries, reference the cost of health plans, review HSA balances, upload photos of all necessary onboarding documents (including driver's licenses and voided checks), sign onboarding documents electronically and view all notices and attachments. Employees can also edit any personal information stored in BerniePortal, which is currently available only for iPhones and iPads.
