Avondale Partners - a Nashville-based integrated boutique investment bank with investment banking, wealth advisory and institutional sales and trading services - has announced the addition of Norman Jordan, formerly of Smith Barney and J.P. Morgan, to its wealth management services.
Bringing in Jordan, who has long served in the financial services arena in Nashville, is another step in expanding Avondale's talent pool in the wealth management division, according to Avondale Partners Head of Wealth Management Waymon Tipton. The division was established seven years ago and has more than $1.8 billion under management.
Jordan, a Vanderbilt University graduate, began his career at JC Bradford & Co. as a financial advisor before becoming director of training. After JC Bradford he spent more than 15 years with Smith Barney and its successor firms. He is a board member of the Middle Tennessee Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Football Hall of Fame and is a former television and current radio announcer for Vanderbilt football games.
