TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center has welcomed recently welcomed two new specialists.

Elizabeth Wakefield, DPM, podiatrist, received her medical degree from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Kent, Ohio and completed her podiatric and surgical residency from Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Sarah Mian, MD

Sarah Mian, MD, pediatrician, received her medical degree from Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in Greenview, and completed her pediatric residency at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. In addition to her practice, Mian, who is fluent in Spanish and has experience in immigrant health, plans to craft health outreach initiatives in Sumner County promoting prevention and education.
