Bartels was named to his current position in 2011 and has more than 30 years of experience as an RN and in leadership roles. Prior to relocating to Nashville, he served as the vice president of Clinical Services at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital in Hastings, Neb, where he worked for almost 24 years. In addition to overseeing Nashville's largest and oldest inpatient psychiatric facility, he is involved with community organizations and heads up TriStar Centennial's efforts regarding the Walk to End Alzheimer's.
