Bartlett began her career as a staff nurse with HCA in 1978. After nursing leadership positions in Chattanooga and South Pittsburg, Tenn., she relocated to Middle Tennessee in 1998 to take the position of chief nursing and operating officer for TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center. She moved to sister facility, TriStar Skyline, in 2004 as COO before returning to TriStar Hendersonville in 2007 to take the CEO position with oversight of the 148-bed hospital and eight-bed TriStar Portland ER.
