Barton has led Regions' healthcare banking division since 2009. Other positions at Regions include serving as division head for specialized industries and group head for healthcare. Previously, Barton spent 11 years with SunTrust Robinson Humphrey where he ran the corporate and investment banking healthcare vertical. Prior to 2000, he held various management positions with SunTrust. Barton earned his finance degree from Southern Methodist University and attended the Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
