Brown, who was appointed to her role as vice president for Vanderbilt Health Services in January 2012, has operational oversight for VHS and its subsidiary entities. Additionally, she serves as president of VHCS where she has spent the past 14 years developing and leading the nationally recognized home care provider. She oversees an average daily census of 600 patients and more than 250 employees. Brown, a 2013 Council Fellow, earned her nursing degree from the University of Tennessee and a master's in Health Systems Management from Vanderbilt.
