Sam Lynch, DMSc, and Leslie Wisner-Lynch, DDS, DMSc, recently announced their BioTN Foundation, which was established in 2007, plans to extend its focus, augmenting the original mission of supporting STEM education to include entrepreneurial assistance, as well. Eric Elmquist, PhD, was recently named executive director of BioTN and will lead efforts to raise money over the next year to fund the first phase of a business incubator for biotech and HIT ventures and the continued support of educational efforts including the STEM Prep Academy
