The American Psychiatric Association (APA) honored Nashville psychiatrist J. Greg Kyser, MD, in late March with the Warren Williams Assembly Award, which recognizes outstanding recent or current contributions in the field of psychiatry and is administered by APA Area Councils. Kyser is in private practice in Nashville and serves as an associate clinical professor at Vanderbilt University’s Psychiatric Hospital.

The book includes his escape from China’s Cultural Revolution to become an American success story and explores his Christian faith in concert with his scientific education and background.
