National Medical Group Is Providing Clinical Support and Expertise To Florida Hospitals Impacted by a Surge in COVID-19 Patients

Envision Healthcare, a leading national medical group, today announced that it is working with the State of Florida, Division of Emergency Management, to send additional clinicians to Florida to provide lifesaving care and support patients impacted by COVID-19. Teams consisting of registered nurses, certified registered nurse anesthetists and emergency physicians will deploy to a large South Florida health system and to hospitals in the Orange, Pinellas and Duval counties.

This team will join Envision's approximately 6,000 clinicians based in Florida who have been working around the clock to care for patients. Hundreds of Envision clinicians have deployed through the ENVOY travel team to hard-hit areas across the nation, including New York, New Jersey and Arizona. The medical group will remain on the front lines of the COVID-19 response in Florida and across the nation while continuing to treat all patients in communities large and small.
