Nashville business leaders today announced the launch of ReCOVer-Health, a new enterprise that offers access to a comprehensive and customizable suite of services to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 for businesses in industries at an increased risk of transmitting the virus. ReCOVer-Health's streamlined process includes risk mitigation strategies, streamlined testing process, expedited delivery of test results and contact tracing via a mobile app to ensure maximum communication, frequency, and protection for employees and the public.

ReCOVer-Health, founded by an investment group led by veteran Nashville business leaders Dr. Turner Nashe, Jr. and Patrick H. Johnson, helps guide businesses through the emerging and complex challenges as they seek to reopen and stay open safely. The company has been retained by businesses in the hospitality, manufacturing, higher education and entertainment industry to quickly respond to and help mitigate the exposure risks associated with COVID-19.

ReCOVer-Health has also partnered with the Nashville Convention and Visitors Corporation to provide 24-48 hour testing services at a fixed rate to the 700 members in Good to Go, a joint program with Vanderbilt University Medical Center that educates businesses on COVID-19 strategies free-of-charge.

"Our businesses are the backbone of our city's economy, and we must ensure that they have both the guidance needed to reopen safely and the tools and services to quickly respond and mitigate any situation that they might experience related to COVID-19 exposure," said Dr. Nashe, ReCOVer-Health CEO and Nashville entrepreneur. "ReCOVer-Health brings the expertise to provide critical COVID-19 solutions. This virus is not going away anytime soon, and we will pivot with our business community as we help to manage the evolving phases of this most unfortunate pandemic."

ReCOVer-Health's services and testing protocols were developed by Patrick H. Johnson, Senior Vice President at Meharry Medical College, who was part of the leadership team that launched Nashville's COVID-19 response in the earliest days of the pandemic. Johnson worked with the Nashville COVID-19 task force to develop the city's response strategy, led the establishment of three COVID-19 assessment centers, and has overseen Meharry's management of testing at those sites. Johnson's expertise, coupled with Dr. Nashe's twenty-five years of experience creating innovative technology solutions to complex problems, drives ReCOVER-Health's services, which can be customized to any organization's needs and includes counsel for mitigation strategies, proactive and reactive testing, and contact tracing.

"Nashville has been praised nationwide for the immediate and comprehensive planning it developed to respond to the public health needs of our residents in the early days of the pandemic," said Johnson. "We founded ReCOVer-Health to provide that same level of attention and care to the specialized needs of our private businesses. Without a healthy business infrastructure, we will not have a healthy Nashville. ReCOVER-Health is the answer."

Through its partnerships with multiple CLIA certified clinical labs, ReCOVer-Health can provide test results within 24-48 hours. The company provides several levels of testing services, which include a Primary service where employees go to local ReCOVer-Health testing locations, and a White Glove service, which is conducted by a team of medical professionals on-site at a business, venue, or studio.

"We could not be more grateful for the fast response we received from ReCOVer-Health when we required support in one of our restaurants," said Benjamin Goldberg, co-founder of Strategic Hospitality. "These are uncertain times and businesses have a lot of questions. It was a relief to work with individuals who actually understand what needs to be done to keep our employees and customers safe and can quickly help us implement protocols."
