MDC Adds Two to Practice

Murfreesboro Dermatology Clinic, PLC, and MDC Aesthetics Center recently announced the addition of two dermatologist to the growing practice, effective Aug. 18.

Megan Morrison, DO, is board certified in dermatology and completed her residency and fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital at Michigan State University in Ann Arbor. She earned her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of West Florida, followed by her medical training at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Fla. and internship at Montgomery Regional Hospital in Blacksburg, Va.

Pezhman Shoureshi, DO, is also board certified in dermatology and has a special interest in pediatric dermatology, skin cancer and complex medical dermatology. He earned his undergraduate degree in electrical engineering and a master’s in molecular biology from the University of Colorado. He then undertook his medical training at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine at the main campus in Pennsylvania. He, too, completed his internship at Montgomery Regional Hospital followed by a dermatology residency at University Hospitals, Case Medical Center, in Cleveland, Ohio.

The two doctors, who are married, said they are excited about the move to Middle Tennessee. Shoureshi, an avid NFL fan, added he is looking forward to following the Tennessee Titans.
