In late July, Baton Rouge-based home health and hospice giant Amedisys announced the opening of an executive office in Nashville. Calling the city the “epicenter” of the healthcare industry, company officials said the office would allow them to create strategic relationships and draw from the strong talent pool located in the city. The majority of the executive team, including the CEO and COO, will be based in the new downtown Cummins Station office.
“Nashville is the place to be if you’re in healthcare, and we’re extremely excited to be opening an office here,” said Paul Kusserow, CEO of Amedisys. “Our vision is to be more than a homecare and hospice company – we see the future of healthcare as delivered without boundaries, in the home setting. Our presence in Nashville will help us engage with the leading health systems, health technology and health services companies.”
