Former Vanguard Health Systems exec Michael Weaver has joined PhyMed Healthcare Group. In his new senior vice president role, he will lead M&A efforts for the physician practice management company.

Most recently, Weaver was chief development officer at Dow Healthcare. Before that, he worked at Symbion Healthcare for 14 years before moving to Vanguard in 2012.
