Saint Thomas Health officials have announced the promotion of two leaders at the Nashville-based Ascension health ministry.
Lisa R. Davis, who has served as vice president of Finance and associate chief financial officer since 2013, has been promoted to CFO. She began her career at Ernst & Young before joining Saint Thomas in 1998 where she has held increasingly responsible leadership positions. Davis earned both her undergraduate degree and Master of Accountancy from the University of Tennessee - Knoxville. She is on the board of Alive Hospice and Shared Hospital Services Corporation.
Amber Sims, who previously served as vice president of the Saint Thomas Health Alliance, has been named chief strategy officer. She began her career at Saint Thomas Midtown before advancing to division director of Business Operations for Saint Thomas Health in 2007 where she’s held increasing roles as part of the senior executive team. Sims earned her undergraduate degree from Western Kentucky and holds an MBA from Belmont University.
