LifePoint Health has promoted Melissa Waddey to senior vice president, Operations Strategy and Integration. In this newly created position, Waddey is responsible for providing support and resources to LifePoint’s hospitals and other system providers nationally and will oversee service line development, population health, enterprise project management and integration. 

Prior to joining LifePoint in 2010, she held operational leadership roles for HCA. She is a former chair of Leadership Health Care and the founder and former board member for the American College of Healthcare Executives’ Middle Tennessee chapter. Waddey also serves on the boards of the Sexual Assault Center and PearlPoint Cancer Support.
