Brookdale Makes Changes to Executive Leadership

Recently, Brookdale Senior Living added two to the C-suite to oversee operations and finance at the publicly traded company.

Labeed Diab joined Brookdale as chief operating officer. Diab brings significant retail and health and wellness operational leadership experience to the company. Most recently, he served as president of Health and Wellness of Walmart's US division. Other previous experience includes serving as regional vice president at of Aramark’s Health Care Division and of Rite Aid Corporation. A registered pharmacist, he earned his undergraduate pharmacy degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and also completed an advanced management program from Duke University, Fuqua School of Business.

Lucinda (Cindy) Baier came on board Dec. 1, 2015 as the company’s chief financial officer. She has more than 15 years of executive leadership experience in accounting, taxation, finance and treasury functions, having most recently served as EVP and CFO of Navigant Consulting, Inc. She also held executive financial posts at Central Parking, Movie Gallery, and World Kitchen. Baier, a CPA, is a graduate of Illinois State University with both a bachelor’s and master’s in accounting.
