Anderson, Riley Join Growing GHCC Portfolio Company
Nashville - Clarus has announced the addition of two regional vice presidents to expand their sales team, according to Rich Maradik, CEO of the SaaS patient call management platform serving the physician office segment of the healthcare industry.
Jamie Anderson and John Riley, both experienced health care executives, join Clarus as Vice Presidents for Enterprise Development for the Southeast and the Midwest, respectively. Clarus provides reliable, cost-effective call management technology for thousands of physician offices across the U.S. and handles more than 9 million calls annually. Clarus was founded in Nashville in 2013 and Graham Healthcare Capital (GHCC) acquired the business in June 2019.
Maradik welcomed Anderson and Riley to Clarus, saying, “We are excited and honored to have these outstanding individuals on the sales leadership team at Clarus. Each is a proven healthcare industry executive who has built genuine relationships and consistently delivered results for their customers. They will be central in our efforts to rapidly expand Clarus’s market share among the 250,000 physician offices in the U.S.”
Anderson is responsible for expanding market share within large health systems in the central U.S. He has more than 26 years of experience in various sales leadership roles within healthcare and other market segments. Most recently he was with Alana Healthcare as the Senior Sales Manager and Corporate Sales Trainer, where he built teams, grew market share, and developed a sales playbook that was used by the national sales team. Prior to that role he was a senior marketing executive with LabCorp, ranking fourth in the country out of a sales team of more than 8,000. Anderson graduated from Lipscomb University in 1996 with a degree in Social Work and was a scholarship athlete, playing four years of collegiate baseball.
Before joining Clarus to head up southeast enterprise development, Riley was a Partner in Transparency Health, an investment firm specializing in start-up and early-stage healthcare SaaS companies. He served as the Chief Revenue Officer for the firm’s Ntracts company, which is focused on Contract Lifecycle Management, enabling healthcare organizations to operate more efficiently and transparently. As Chief Revenue Officer, he drove sales by 42% in 2022 after two prior years of sales growth in excess of 30% each year. Prior to Transparency Health, he was the Executive Vice President of Sales and Development for TractManager, a two-division company comprised of MediTract, based in Chattanooga, TN, and MD Buyline, based in Dallas, TX.
