NASHVILLE – TriStar Centennial Medical Center is pleased to welcome Cassidi Summers, MSN, RN, CEN, NEA-BC, as chief nursing officer. Summers will lead nursing strategy for the 741-bed hospital with a strong focus on quality outcomes and patient experience.
“Cassidi is a strong advocate for the nursing profession with a passion for creating exceptional care experiences for our patients,” says Tom Ozburn, president and chief executive officer at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. “I am excited to welcome Cassidi to our team and believe her exceptional nursing leadership experience will be an asset to our colleagues and patients.”
Summers comes to Nashville from McKinney, TX, where she served as chief nursing officer for Medical City McKinney since 2016. During her time at Medical City McKinney, Cassidi led the hospital to achieving Magnet status from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. This distinction is awarded to less than eight percent of hospitals across the country.
“I am excited to relocate to Tennessee and join the TriStar Centennial family,” said Summers. “I look forward to working with the incredible nursing staff to build upon the reputation of providing exceptional nursing care to the entire community.”
