Michele N. Blackledge, DDS, has joined Neighborhood Health as dental director. Previously, she served as managing clinical director of Aspen Dental in Gallatin. Other prior experience includes a year as a correctional dentist with the Tennessee Department of Corrections and as a general dentist at Brite Smilez in Antioch.

Blackledge earned her dental degree at Meharry Medical College in 2011 and completed her general practice residency at Meharry in 2012. She also holds an MBA from Florida Institute of Technology and earned her undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from Southern University A&M College. In addition to active participation in numerous professional societies, Blackledge is involved with Operation Stand Down, Oasis Center, and Park Center. She also provides preventative care information and screenings at Metro Nashville Public Schools, Temple Church, Samaritan House, Hadley Park and Metro Center Health Care Group.
