CE Foot & Ankle will be attending the 3rd Annual Diabetes Awareness Health and Wellness Fair

NASHVILLE - Diabetic Social invites you to join their 3rd Annual Diabetes Awareness Health and Wellness Fair. Medical experts, dieticians, and personal trainers will attend, educating you on ways to help improve diabetes health. Other teams will provide educational materials and demonstrations of products and tools such as Continuous Glucose Meters and insulin pump therapy. Medical experts from Cutting Edge Foot and Ankle Clinic will be at the fair, providing education on diabetic foot care.

The 3rd Annual Diabetes Awareness Health and Wellness Fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the TriStar Medical Plaza (The Crossing) on November 4, 2023. The fair is open and free to the Nashville community and the surrounding areas. The mission is to create awareness and education about the diabetic lifestyle through proper management and prevention. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in diabetes and glucose screenings to support and teach them better ways to improve their health and live a life where they thrive rather than survive.

Dr. Yerusalem Lanier, founder of CE Foot and Ankle Clinic, will speak, answer questions, and engage with attendees at the fair. Dr. Yerusalem Lanier, founder of CE Foot and Ankle Clinic, is known for her dedication to healing the world one step at a time by relieving pain, improving function, treating infections, and preventing life-threatening complications in the field of Podiatry.

She is a graduate of Kent State Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine and a former resident of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts. Dr. Lanier’s compassion for Podiatry and her patients has led her to be named Nashville’s “Three Best Rated” in the field of Podiatry. Dr. David Farnen, the co-founder of CE Foot and Ankle Clinic, brings a strong enthusiasm and commitment to research to the partnership. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine. He obtained his doctorate from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science/Chicago Medical School in Chicago, Illinois. His surgical residency training took place at Eastern Virginia Medical School and the Sentara Hospital healthcare system. Dr. Farnen is board-qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, specializing in limb salvage, wound care, and hyperbaric oxygen therapies.
