Ascension Saint Thomas Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Troy Munn to serve as Vice President and Chief Development Officer for Saint Thomas Foundations.

In his new role, Troy will be responsible for overseeing all philanthropic activities across Ascension Saint Thomas, collaborating closely with our valued donors to support the ministry's various initiatives and campaigns. Troy's expertise will contribute to the continued growth and enhancement of Ascension Saint Thomas.

Troy brings over 30 years of experience in the Development sector, having most recently held leadership positions at NCH Healthcare in Naples, Florida, during the past six years. He has a background in gaining support for nonprofit organizations, with a focus on universities, academic medical centers, and health systems.

Troy will oversee Foundation teams in Nashville and Murfreesboro, directing various boards and committees focused on fundraising, donor development, and stewardship.  Recent efforts include the physical expansion at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford, program and campus expansions at West, supporting associates through funds, especially those who have faced hardship, such as the recent tornadoes that affected many in the region, and a future expansion of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital Midtown. These programs and facility upgrades will be part of the broader strategy to enhance patient care, showcasing the organization's commitment to both community well-being and state-of-the-art medical services.
