Hermitage – TriStar Summit Medical Center is pleased to welcome Olivia Velasquez as vice president of operations. Velasquez most recently served as associate administrator at TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center where she supported multiple departments, including, food and nutrition services, environmental services, emergency preparedness, security, imaging, rehabilitation, plant operations, IT, chaplains and volunteers.

“We are delighted to have Olivia join the TriStar Summit family,” said Daphne David, chief executive officer. “As a TriStar Health leader, she demonstrates a genuine compassion for building relationships, rolling her up sleeves and supporting her teams.”

Originally from Chicago, Velasquez received her bachelor’s degree in health sciences and her masters of health systems management from Rush University in Chicago.

Velasquez has been with HCA Healthcare since 2020 when she joined the Executive Residency Program at TriStar Health. In spring 2021, she was named associate administrator at TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center.
