Behavioral health provider Centerstone recently announced the addition of Heather Combs as vice president of Payer Contracting and Strategy. In her new role, Combs will be responsible for developing payer strategies, negotiating contracts, developing and managing client relations with the managed care industry, and overseeing emerging healthcare payer organizations.

She has more than 16 years of experience working in the healthcare field in managed care contracting, account management and sales and previously worked with Cigna, MedSolutions, and UnitedHealthcare. Combs is a graduate of the University of Kentucky.
