Executives with Brentwood-based LifePoint Health® announced last month the company has added a second chief financial officer position to its Eastern Group leadership team in order to enhance the group’s support of recent acquisitions and facilities within LifePoint’s Eastern Group of hospitals. Effective immediately, Conrad Deese, who most recently served as vice president of finance for the Eastern Group, will be promoted to Eastern Group CFO.
Deese, who joined LifePoint in 2014 as vice president of finance for the Eastern Group, will primarily focus on western North Carolina and Virginia. Tom Butler, Jr., will continue in his CFO role for the group with a primary focus on facilities in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and eastern North Carolina. The announcement comes on the heels of Duke LifePoint Healthcare’s recent acquisition of Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford, N.C., and Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, N.C.
