Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance (TOA) recently announced the addition of Joseph D. Chenger, MD, and Jeffrey P. Lawrence, MD.
Chenger is a board certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in joint replacement, shoulder and general orthopaedics. Chenger received his undergraduate degree from the University of Lethbridge, in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. His medical degree was earned at the University of Calgary, and he completed internship at Foothills Hospital in Calgary, followed by residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Calgary, where he was chief resident.
Lawrence is a board certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon, with a subspecialty certification in sports medicine, specializing in joint replacement and sports medicine. Lawrence received an undergraduate degree from Abilene Christian University and completed his medical degree at the University of Tennessee. He completed a general surgery internship and a five-year orthopaedic surgery residency, including one-year as chief orthopaedic resident at the University of Tennessee.
