Cancer patients who live near Spring Hill can now receive care from medical oncologists at Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center (VICC) at Spring Hill instead of traveling to the main campus in Nashville. Two of VICC's highly experienced oncologists, Ruth Young, MD, MA, MMHC, and Stephen Smith, MD, are providing care for patients with solid tumors and many blood disorders several days a week at the facility located at 1003 Reserve Blvd.

The new medical oncology and hematology practice is a complement to the radiation oncology practice already available at the Spring Hill clinic. Patients who need radiation therapy for their cancers or metastatic disease can receive that care from experienced radiation oncologists using technologically advanced equipment.
