Mazzetti Inc., a global engineering design and consulting firm, and Nashville-based Gene Burton & Associates (GBA), the country's largest independent healthcare technology consulting firm announced their merger last month. The company has retained the Mazzetti Inc. name, and the combined brand is known as Mazzetti GBA.

GBA CEO Suzan Logan and senior vice president Ted Hood are Mazzetti principals and lead the technology division. The combined firm, which maintained all team members and office locations, has a staff of 220 and 11 locations, including 10 in the United States and one in India.
