SIGNiX, a Chattanooga-based provider of cloud-based Independent E-Signature™ solutions, announced last month that its e-signature technology is now fully integrated into Nashville-based RELATIENT's patient check-in and messaging software. RELATIENT is a cloud-based healthcare information technology company that provides a unique web-based patient relationship, engagement and population health platform.

The SIGNiX and RELATIENT partnership allows patients to easily and securely fill out, sign and submit healthcare visit paperwork from any computer, tablet or mobile device with an internet connection, in-person or remotely. Further, the integration increases patient portal use, which is a key requirement under the Meaningful Use rules in the HITECH Act.
