The Hughston Clinic, a nationally known orthopaedic group with facilities in Georgia, Florida and Alabama, has added Tennessee to its list of locations through a new partnership with Premier Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine. Premier's eight Tennessee locations switched to the Hughston name on Sept. 26.

Headquartered in Columbus, Ga., the renowned Hughston orthopaedic group was founded in 1949 by Jack C. Hughston, MD. The Hughston Clinic, along with the Jack Hughston Memorial Hospital, is physician owned and operated.

Hughston CEO Mark Baker worked with Premier President Joseph Wieck, MD, and CEO Linda ClenDening to join forces under the new alliance. "Together we will build an organization that centers itself on excellence and customer service in providing the best orthopaedic care to Nashville and the surrounding area," said Baker.
